This was my first everyday cross, taken at my grandparent’s farm in 2015. I loved this setting and remembered gathering eggs from the chickens with my grandmother here. At the time I didn’t even realize the crosses.
It was around 4 months later, when I became aware of seeing everyday crosses—specifically the book cover image—that I thought back to this photo.
