I came across this shadow three weeks ago.
I was out for my usual walk route, but went a different time of day with a slight variation on the way back and there it was. Since this sighting, I’ve been by this section often, looking at this spot— and no image, not even a slight shadow. Time of day and time of year has to line up just right. It doesn’t just happen.
When I saw this shadow cross during my walk I was praying, thinking about a faith project I’m working on, being led, not knowing the how, but knowing to Do. And then, I see this image. Coming across the universal symbol of faith in nature is powerful. Seeing a cross in nature has happened to me several times recently. Yesterday the image was in the clouds. I have been in Pursuit of the Cross.
